Single Trip
A policy for a single trip that starts and ends in the UK, up to 90 days.

Annual Multi-Trip
A 12-month policy that allows you to travel more than once. Up to 31 days for Red cover, 45 days for Silver cover and 94 days for Gold cover.

Cruise is not covered as standard: If you are travelling on a cruise please purchase one of the Cruise Cover options on the Extra Cover page.

Depending on the cover selected, your choice of destination will be categorised on your schedule as follows.

Europe 1 (Single Trip only)

Your travel arrangements

A Couple
Two people in a relationship living at the same address.

Family
Up to two adults that are married or are civil partners, or are permanently cohabiting in a marriage-like relationship and up to five, unmarried dependent children (including adopted, foster and step-children) aged 17 or under. If divorced or separated, your natural children aged 17 or under.

Group
A group of up to seven adults and/or children who may not all be related and are named on one policy schedule under a Single Trip policy. All members of the group must travel together.

Group
A group of up to seven adults and/or children who may not all be related and are named on one policy schedule under an Annual Multi Trip policy. All children of the group must travel with the policy holder.

Medical declarations

You must now declare to us any pre-existing medical conditions that you or anyone else detailed on this policy has.
Failure to do so may result in part or all of a claim not being paid.
A medical condition should be declared if you or anyone to be insured under this policy:

  1. Is suffering from a medical condition for which he/she:

    1. should have sought medical advice
    2. is under investigation
    3. is on a waiting list to undergo investigation, a medical procedure or in-patient hospital treatment
    4. is waiting for test results
    5. has been given a terminal prognosis

  2. Is suffering from a medical condition which he/she knows will require medical treatment during an insured journey

  3. Is intending to travel to get medical treatment abroad

  4. Has at any time during the last five years been treated for alcohol or drug addiction

  5. Is suffering from a psychiatric or psychological condition

  6. Has ever suffered from:

    1. a cardiovascular or heart-related condition such as a heart attack, angina, chest pain or hypertension
    2. a lung or respiratory-related condition (not including stable, well-controlled asthma if there is no other medical condition)
    3. any form of cancer whether in remission or not
    4. a cerebro-vascular condition such as a stroke or T.I.A. (transient ischaemic attack)
    5. a renal condition or diabetes

  7. Suffered from a medical condition in the last 12 months for which he/she:

    1. is currently being prescribed or on regular medication?
    2. is receiving treatment of any kind
    3. has required an organ transplant or required dialysis

  8. Is any relative or colleague of an insured person, or travelling companion or friend with whom you are going to travel or stay with, suffering from a medical condition which could reasonably be expected to give rise to a claim?

Your travel insurance policy can cover most pre-existing medical conditions.

Please tell us about any pre-existing medical conditions that you or anyone travelling on this policy have. By answering for them, you confirm you have the authority and will provide complete and accurate medical information about everyone to be covered. If you're unsure of any answers please contact the person who you're answering on behalf of. If you don't tell us about pre-existing medical conditions, it may result in part or all of a claim not being paid.



Eligibility criteria

You confirm and agree that:

  • you are 18 years of age or over at the date of buying the Policy
  • you and all persons to be insured have an address in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man; and
  • you and all persons to be insured have lived in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man for at least 6 of the last 12 months; and
  • you and all persons to be insured are registered with a GP in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man
  • you and all persons to be insured are in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands or the Isle of Man when the policy is purchased and have not started a trip
  • you and all persons to be insured will obtain any recommended vaccines, inoculations, or medications prior to your trip.
